The news of NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series competitor Tyler Dippel being suspended took the NASCAR world by storm on Friday.

However, the question then became: who would drive the No. 02 truck at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park? The answer looks to be DJ Kennington.

FOX Sports’ Alan Cavanna Tweeted a photo of the name rail for the No. 02 truck, and it has been rebranded to reflect Kennington driving the truck.

Kennington, a Canadian native, has 20 wins and two championships in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series which runs in Canada.

Additionally, Kennington has 78 starts in the NASCAR National Series ranks including 11 Truck Series starts.

To date, Kennington’s best Truck Series finish was a 12th place effort at this same track a season ago.
