Chris Hacker, a young racer who has been landing more and more opportunities in the NASCAR National Series ranks, has joined forces with his primary sponsorship partner Morgan & Morgan to launch a fundraising campaign to support sufferers of Brachial Plexus Injury (BPI).

The campaign developed by Hacker and Morgan & Morgan will fund a mini-camp for 41 children with BPI and their families this weekend. The funds raised will be distributed to the United Brachial Plexus Network, which hosts a bi-annual camp for BPI sufferers.

According to Hacker, who attended these camps as a youth, the camp for this week would not have been possible without his longtime partner.

“This is an awesome opportunity for kids and families that wouldn’t exist without Morgan & Morgan,” said Hacker. “UBPN has hosted a camp every other year for many years. There wasn’t supposed to be a camp this year, but with Morgan & Morgan’s help, we are able to host one for 41 families this weekend,” said Hacker.

The continued generosity that Hacker has received from his primary sponsor is incredible.

“Morgan & Morgan is not only here to help me excel in my career, but they’re here for the people that have the same injury as me,” said Hacker. “I can’t thank them enough for every opportunity they’ve created on and off the track.”

For those unaware of what Brachial Plexus Injuries are, they are nerve injuries, which can occur during birth, and can result in full to potential paralysis of one or both arms.

If you would like to donate to the mini-camp, donations can be made on Hacker’s website.

Hacker, 23, was born with a Brachial Plexus Injury, and as a result, has limited movement in his left arm. Hacker hasn’t let the injury stall his racing dreams, and he continues to be an inspiration to those within the BPI community.

Hacker’s tenacity to overcome all odds to climb the ladder of the NASCAR National Series ranks, garnered attention, which is how he was noticed by Morgan & Morgan. The Law Firm is elated to help Hacker, and the United Brachial Plexus Network.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Chris and support UBPN to continue to raise awareness around brachial plexus injuries,” said Morgan & Morgan Managing Partner, Dan Morgan. “We are continually amazed by Chris’ drive to help others and his ability to inspire those with brachial plexus injuries to pursue their dreams. We look forward to supporting Chris and UBPN this weekend, and are excited to continue this partnership in the future.”

Hacker has made a combined five starts between the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this season, and he is set to run in Friday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series TSport 200 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. Hacker will pilot the No. 30 Toyota Tundra for On Point Motorsports.

It’s a hometown race for Hacker, who hails from Noblesville, Indiana.

Back in May, Hacker scored a career-best finish of 12th in the NASCAR Truck Series event at North Wilkesboro Speedway.
