Brett Moffitt started from the outside pole in Thursday night’s NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series UNOH 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway, and he made quick work of getting to the top spot.

Moffitt would take the lead from Grant Enfinger on lap 1 and he wouldn’t look back the rest of the way in Stage 1 as he captured the Stage 1 win, his sixth Stage Win of 2020.

It was an all-GMS Racing Top-four in Stage 1 as Tyler Ankrum, Sheldon Creed and Zane Smith finished second through fourth. Enfinger would finish in fifth.

Matt Crafton, Sam Mayer, Derek Kraus, Johnny Sauter and Christian Eckes rounded out the top-10 finishers in the opening Stage of the race.

It was a troublesome start to the race for Austin Hill, the regular season champion, as he slapped the outside wall and caused a bunch of damage to his No. 16 Hattori Racing Enterprises truck. Hill would finish 28th, two laps off the pace, worst of the Playoff drivers in Stage 1.
