Brennan Poole will make his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start of the season this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, driving the No. 30 Toyota Tundra for On Point Motorsports, the organization announced on Monday Morning.

The 30-year-old, who ran full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2020 for Rick Ware Racing | Premium Motorsports, will make his return to NASCAR’s top-three series just three months removed from having surgery on his broken wrist, which Poole explained in March, meant he wouldn’t be cleared return until June or July.

Poole, who was raised outside of Houston, Texas, currently holds the best-ever finish for the single-truck organization, pulling off a second-place finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway in 2019, the organization’s only top-five to date. Saturday at Texas will mark Poole’s 25th start with the team.

“I’m excited to be working with On Point Motorsports again and grateful to be back behind the wheel after my injury,” Poole said in a team release on Monday Morning. “Thank you to everyone who has made this possible.”
