On Friday Night, Bill Lester – a former driver in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series — announced his intentions to return to NASCAR’s top-three series in the Fr8 Auctions 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 20th.

Lester announced his return to the series on NASCAR RaceHub:

In his segment on NASCAR Race Hub, Lester says that he’s been able to gather the support of some Atlanta-area Ford dealers, along with backing from Tommy’s Express Car Wash. However, the Oakland, Calirofnia-native says that his primary sponsor for the event – or the “hood sponsor” — has not officially commited to sponsoring Lester’s return to the NASCAR Truck Series.

Lester last participated in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2007 – 14 years ago — running 15 events for Billy Ballew in the No. 15 Chevrolet Silverado, recording a season-best eight-place finish at Kentucky, one of his seven career top-10 finishes.

At this time, no team has been announced for Lester’s return to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
