David Ragan has two wins through a 13-year career in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, but as he sits 23 races into the 2019 campaign with no top-10 finishes and mired 30th in the championship standings, it appears he is contemplating what is next.

According to rumblings within the industry that TobyChristie.com has heard, as well as a fresh report from Sports Business Journal’s Adam Stern, it appears that Ragan, 33, is putting thought about whether this could be it.

Silly season is just starting to take shape as it appears that Matt DiBenedetto will be looking for a ride and several other drivers are unknown on where they’ll be driving next season. An open ride at Front Row — which has been rumored to be possibly working a deal for a technical alliance with Stewart-Haas Racing — could be a top priority for several free agents.

With all of the rumblings going on, expect an announcement from Ragan soon to clear the air one way or another.
