Video: Jeb Burton, Jesse Love Trigger Multi-Car Wreck Late at Daytona

It’s inevitable. In the late stages of any superspeedway race in NASCAR, there typically is a big wreck.

This time, it was triggered by Jeb Burton getting into the left-rear corner of Richard Childress Racing driver Jesse Love, turning him in front of the pack and collecting several others.

Cole Custer, Parker Retzlaff, Matt DiBenedetto, Caesar Bacarella and Kyle Sieg were among those to sustain some damage from the accident.

The defending series champion was forced to retire from the event, as was DiBenedetto and Parker Retzlaff. They join the multiple retirees from the early accident, that included Gus Dean, Ryan Ellis, and Akinori Ogata.

Things are just heating up now, in the final laps of the Wawa 250 at Daytona.
