Video: Christopher Bell and Chase Briscoe End Intense Battle for 2nd With Spin, Penalty

Wow. That was exciting. Christopher Bell and Chase Briscoe were battling for second spot, when Bell and Briscoe got together while going through the frontstretch chicane in Saturday’s Drive for the Cure 250 at the Roval.

As the drivers continued on the lap, Bell took his chance for revenge and spun Briscoe to bring out the yellow flag.

Compounding things was the fact that during the initial incident in the chicane, Bell went below the curbing in the turn with all four tires which is a penalty. NASCAR at first decided that Bell would not be penalized as he was forced there, but then they reversed their decision and penalized Bell.

Both drivers will start from the rear of the lead lap.
