After a promising run in the early portion of Saturday Afternoon’s postponed Wawa 250 at Daytona International Speedway, Caesar Bacarella’s day has come to an early end, after the driver of the No. 90 DGM Racing Chevrolet made contact with Jordan Anderson off turn two, sending his Alpha Prime sponsored entry into the outside wall.

As Bacarella continued to travel down the backstraightaway, what looked to be a mechanical issue caused the car to turn down the racetrack as oncoming traffic was flying by his damaged machine. While luckily, nobody clobbered Bacarella, Jade Buford and Matt Mills did make some contact while trying to avoid him, resulting in some damage to both vehicles.

The DGM Racing No. 90 was forced to retire from the race due to significant damage, while Jade Buford and Matt Mills were able to continue with the damage they sustained from the accident, despite what looked to be suspension issues on the Big Machine Racing No. 48
