Video: Alex Labbe Makes Incredible Save in Thursday Night’s Xfinity Race at Kentucky

Okay, admittedly, I missed this moment when Thursday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Shady Rays 200 at Kentucky Speedway was happening live, but thanks to the magic of the internet, my eyes have been opened to the incredible save that Alex Labbe made in the race.

While battling closely with Justin Allgaier and Chase Briscoe, Labbe, in the No. 36 car, gets into a dusty spot on the track surface, which pitches his car totally sideways.

Somehow, the 27-year old driver hung onto his race car and avoided mayhem.

Labbe would go on to finish 24th in the event, and now sits 14th, 35 points away from the Playoff Cutoff, in the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series driver standings.
