Mother Nature hasn’t been kind to Atlanta Motor Speedway this year, especially when it comes to the Xfinity Series, after NASCAR was forced to cancel the series’ qualifying session on Saturday.

The cancellation of Saturday morning’s single-car qualifying session marks the second time in two attempts that weather has blocked the second-tier series from qualifying at the newly-reconfigured 1.5-mile ‘superspeedway’.

As a result, the starting order for Saturday’s Alsco Uniforms 250 will be set by the NASCAR Rulebook, which dictates the use of the performance metric, which combines finishing position, points position, and fastest laps from the previous week.

After collecting the victory at Road America, Ty Gibbs will start from the pole position in his No. 54 Monster Energy Toyota GR Supra. Josh Berry will start alongside Gibbs on the front row.

AJ Allmendinger, Brandon Jones, and Austin Hill round out the top-five starters for the event, with Noah Gragson, Justin Allgaier, Riley Herbst, Ryan Sieg, and Sam Mayer rounding out the top-10.

With only 38 cars on the entry list for the event, every driver and team entered will take the green flag from Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon.
