Stefan Parsons is set to contest his first NASCAR Xfinity Series start of the 2025 season this weekend in the Mission 200 at The Glen at the 2.45-mile Watkins Glen International road course. Parsons will pilot the No. 45 Alpha Prime Racing Chevrolet.

Mongoose Power Solutions will serve as the primary sponsorship partner in the event and will adorn the No. 45 entry with its bold black, blue, and yellow colors.

Alpha Prime Racing showed off a render of Parsons’ paint scheme for Saturday’s event at Watkins Glen via a social media post on Monday.

Parsons, the 27-year-old son of former NASCAR Cup Series race winner Phil Parsons, last made a start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in the 2024 season finale at Phoenix Raceway, an event that he also piloted the No. 45 Alpha Prime Racing Chevrolet in.

Of his 67 career NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, Parsons has made 16 of them with the Alpha Prime Racing team, and his career best finish of eighth, which came at Bristol Motor Speedway in Fall 2022, came behind the wheel of Alpha Prime Racing equipment.

While he hasn’t competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series yet this season, Parsons has made three NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts this year, and had a season’s best finish of 12th at Texas Motor Speedway in May.

In addition to his top-10 finish at Bristol in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2022, Parsons has also recorded three top-10 finishes in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competition, all of which came during the 2024 campaign.
