Jesse Love and the No. 2 Richard Childress Racing NASCAR Xfinity Series team will carry a new partner into the September 7 event at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The race team has reached a partnership with Samsara, which will see Samsara serve as the primary sponsor for Love at Atlanta.

In addition, Samsara, a video-based safety, vehicle telematics, and equipment monitoring solutions company, will provide its services to aid the safety of Richard Childress Racing’s hauler drivers.

It’s the continuation of a trend with Richard Childress Racing, where primary sponsorship partners are always more than just primary sponsorship partners. The team actively procures partnerships that work for the entirety of the race team, not just slapping a decal on a race car.

“RCR is consistently striving to find solutions to improve the safety and efficiency of not only our race cars, but our fleet of trucks that log thousands of miles to and from the track every week,” said Torrey Galida, president of RCR. “This partnership with Samsara allows us to equip our hauler drivers with innovative and sustainable technology that will help our logistic operations. Our use of the Samsara platform is an exciting opportunity, and we look forward to finding much success together both on and off the track.”

Samsara is elated to help the RCR team with it’s video-based safety tools.

“The time and hard work RCR’s hauler drivers and logistics team put in is critical to the team’s performance on track. At Samsara, we’re dedicated to helping make their jobs safer and easier with technology,” said Amy Day-O’Connor, senior director of brand and creative at Samsara. “We’re excited to play a role in improving RCR’s operations and to cheer on Jesse Love as he competes for the championship.”

Love, 19, has enjoyed a really solid rookie season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The driver picked up his first career race win at Talladega Superspeedway in the spring, and he has racked up five top-fives and nine top-10 finishes through the opening 22 races of the 2024 season. Love has also recorded three pole positions, and he ranks eighth in the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship standings.
