Ryan Vargas has a knack for making big-time sponsorship announcements. Thursday night was no exception as the 21-year old driver announced a new partnership with Newegg Auto for this weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Martinsville Speedway.

The brand new automotive storefront for Newegg will be prominently displayed on the rear bumper cover of Vargas’ No. 6 JD Motorsports machine. According to Vargas on Twitter, this was a deal that came together after months of talks.

Vargas place in the NASCAR world as an emerging young talent in conjunction with being born and raised near Newegg’s home led to the deal being a slam dunk.

“Ryan’s influence in the world of racing is undeniable. He represents a youthful movement in professional auto racing, and he connects with tech-savvy fans in a way that aligns perfectly with our core customer base,” said Andrew Choi, Director of Brand Marketing at Newegg. “As a company based a mere eight miles from Ryan’s birthplace in La Mirada, we celebrate local success stories like his, and we are proud to lend our support to Ryan as he continues his rise up the NASCAR ranks.”

Another fun piece of this deal; Vargas, JD Motorsports and Newegg will also give away a special gaming pc to a lucky fan. According to a press release from Newegg, the value of the pc is $4,300.

This weekend will be a bit of a retribution mission for Vargas, as he finished 40th earlier in the season at Martinsville after being involved in a crash on lap 97. Vargas will attempt to best his top finish of the 2021 campaign, which is a 14th-place effort that he put together at Atlanta Motor Speedway in July.

Vargas, who hails from California, has become a cult icon with his obsession of chicken nuggets and his recent primary sponsorship from the popular social media video sharing app TikTok.

As of this story, Vargas has more than 350,000 followers on TikTok.

In addition to the TikTok sponsorship from last season, Vargas has also scored sponsorship deals with NFL Player Alvin Kamara, Swann Communications, Best Buy, MaintenX in addition to other partners this season.
