Natalie Decker, who gave birth to her firstborn child on February 5, will return to the driver’s seat for the first time since bringing home her bundle of joy. Decker will pilot the No. 92 DGM Racing Chevrolet in the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series Wawa 250 Powered by Coca-Cola at Daytona International Speedway, and she’ll do so with primary sponsorship from Wawa.

Decker will join teammate Josh Bilicki, who will also drive a Wawa-sponsored No. 91 Chevrolet for DGM Racing in the August 22 event.

DGM Racing announced Decker’s return in a social media post on Wednesday morning.

If Decker, 28, who has notched 44 starts between the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series ranks in her racing career, can lock into the field for the race, she will join Sara Christian, Ethel Mobley, Shawna Robinson, Tina Gordon, Kelly Sutton, Alli Owens, and Jessica Friesen on the short list of female racers who have made a start in the NASCAR National Series ranks after giving birth.

The highlight of Decker’s NASCAR National Series campaign to date was a fifth-place finish at Daytona International Speedway in the 2020 season-opening NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event.

In 12 career NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, Decker has a career-best finish of 18th, which she achieved at Daytona International Speedway in the Summer of 2024 while driving for DGM Racing. Decker led seven laps in the race before she settled for the 18th-place result.
