Kyle Weatherman, and FRS Racing, which teamed up at Richmond but missed the race after qualifying was washed out, will once again attempt to make the show this weekend in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Call 811 Before You Dig 250 at Martinsville Speedway.

The organization made the announcement of the return of Weatherman in a Tweet on Monday morning.

With weather expected to be a potential factor in Martinsville, Virginia this weekend, Fern is hoping the weather holds off long enough for his race team to have a shot to clock a qualifying lap.

“[Richmond] was obviously really disappointing, to not even have a shot when we knew we had a fast car.” team owner Collin Fern said. He continued “I have the utmost confidence in Kyle as a driver and everybody that has helped put these pieces in place to make sure we have a good run, we just need the weather to hold off.”

In a press release from the team following the tweet, FRS Racing announced that BrewHaha Brewing Company will once again serve as the primary sponsorship partner on the No. 96 Chevrolet Camaro at Martinsville. Fanttik will provide additional sponsorship support for the team and will serve as the co-primary sponsor.

Weatherman is particularly excited about Fanttik joining the No. 96 team, as he personally is a customer of the company.

“Really excited to have Fanttik on the car for the first time this year,” Weatherman said in the team release. “They have great car accessories for all vehicles. My favorite is the V8 Mate Vaccum Cleaner. Also, having BrewHaha come back on after the disappointment last week is great.”

If Weatherman, 25, can lock the No. 96 machine into the show, it will be the first-ever NASCAR Xfinity Series start for the upstart race team, which is owned by Collin Fern.
