It’s been a quarter of a century since Dale Sr.’s iconic 1996 Olympics / Goodwrench Monte Carlo hit the track. In just a few short weeks, the fan-favorite design will ride once again.

JD Motorsports’ Jeffrey Earnhardt, the fourth generation of the Earnhardt racing family, will pilot a special No. 0 Forever Lawn Camaro that pays homage to the design for Darlington’s Throwback Weekend.

“Man, this ForeverLawn Chevrolet is beautiful,” Earnhardt said. “Any time I get the chance to honor my family’s history in the sport, I jump at the opportunity. I remember seeing this car that my grandfather drove as a kid, and I loved it. Throwback Weekend is always something I look forward to each year, and I’m so happy that we get to be a part of it once again. I’m very thankful to ForeverLawn for allowing me to run this paint scheme at Darlington. It looked great twenty-five years ago and still looks great today.”

It’s becoming somewhat of a tradition for Earnhardt to pay tribute to his family’s legacy in the sport. Just last season, he ran a gold and black KSDT CPA Camaro, reminiscent of Sr.’s Bass Pro Shops Monte Carlo that he drove for Richard Childress Racing on multiple occasions. During Jeffrey’s time in NASCAR, he has sported multiple Dale Sr. throwbacks including his famed Wrangler blue and yellow during his days with Go Fas Racing.

JD Motorsports claimed that merchandise for fans to purchase is forthcoming featuring the design.

Fans can  see the No. 0 Forever Lawn Camaro hit the track on Saturday, May 8th at 1:00 PM EST on FOX Sports 1 and the FOX Sports app.
