J.A. Avila Jr. broke onto the NASCAR Scene in 2018, since then earning seven oppurtunities with B.J. McLeod Motorsports in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, resulting in a pair of top twenty finishes in his first two starts with the team.

The Los Angeles, California native will return to the team for a third season in 2020, piloting the No. 99 Toyota Supra for B.J. McLeod Motorsports in multiple races throughout the season. With his limited opportunities, Avila is looking to capitalize on the learning experiences from his previous starts, and focus forward on using those to run well this season.

J.A. Avila Jr. joins Mason Massey and Josh Bilicki as drivers for B.J. McLeod Motorsports’ No. 99 Entry in 2020. The three of them will join full-time teammates Matt Mills & Vinnie Miller on track for B.J. McLeod Motorsports, while also racing against team owner B.J. McLeod (who will be running for JD Motorsports).

Additional information, such as sponsorship and scheduled races for J.A. will be forthcoming.
