Georgia’s own Austin Hill has become the master of the draft at the new superspeedway style Atlanta Motor Speedway. In Saturday afternoon’s Focused Health 250, Hill utilized a push from Corey Heim to take the lead from Chandler Smith with 12 laps remaining. Hill wouldn’t relinquish the lead the remainder of the way as he marched to his fourth win at the 1.54-mile speedway over the last three seasons.

Following his win, Hill’s race-winning No. 21 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet Camaro underwent the rigors of post-race inspection, where his car was given a passing grade. As a result, NASCAR officials declared Hill and his race team the official winners of the race.

The win marks the third of the year for Hill, and the ninth win of his NASCAR Xfinity Series career. Hill’s other two wins on the season came in the opening two races of the 2024 season at Daytona and Atlanta in February.

No issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following Saturday’s race are now official.

Parker Kligerman was the runner-up finisher, while AJ Allmendinger, Chandler Smith, and Corey Heim rounded out the top-five finishers.

Heim’s No. 26 Sam Hunt Racing Toyota and Parker Retzlaff’s No. 31 Jordan Anderson Racing Chevrolet will go back to NASCAR R&D for additional inspection.
