Ryan Ellis will have another returning long-time partner on his No. 43 Alpha Prime Racing Chevrolet Camaro during the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season as Costa Oil has re-signed as a primary sponsorship partner. The company, in its third year of partnership with Ellis, will serve as a two-race primary sponsor this year.

Costa Oil will adorn the No. 43 Chevrolet at Martinsville Speedway on April 6 as well as Dover Motor Speedway on April 27. If you’re keeping score at home, these are the same two events that Costa Oil served as the primary sponsor for Ellis a season ago.

For the Martinsville event, Dakota Riggers will also jump on board the No. 43 as a secondary sponsorship partner.

The partnership between Ellis and Costa Oil has become more than just a sponsorship agreement, Ellis and Constantine Kapothanasis, the president of Costa Oil, have blossomed a true friendship.

“We’re looking forward to an electrifying series of events, and we can’t wait to see Ryan in
action, supported by the Costa Oil brand. This is more than a sponsorship; it’s a partnership that
drives forward our passion for automotive excellence and speed, and we are all geared up for
the incredible journey ahead. This will make double-digit races with Ryan, and I consider him a
friend,” Kapothanasis said in a press release.

Ellis is excited to keep the Costa colors on track for another season as he feels they always have some of the best-looking paint schemes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series garage.

“We’re extremely proud that Costa has returned for a third season with our team,” Ellis said. “Not only has he been a sponsor every year that I’ve been at Alpha Prime, but more importantly, he’s become a friend. The Costa Oil brand has been a lot of fun to work with. Costa loves keeping the schemes fresh, and I know that NASCAR fans love seeing that variation.”

Ellis and the Alpha Prime Racing team have enjoyed an excellent start to the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. The racer tied his career-best finish of 11th in the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway, and the driver of the No. 43 car has yet to finish outside of the top-25 in any of the opening four races.

As a result of avoiding much of the calamity on track, Ellis ranks 18th in the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship standings following Phoenix Raceway.
