Chase Briscoe has secured the two Playoff points for winning Stages 1 and 2 in Saturday night’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Alsco 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and in doing so, he has certainly asserted himself — even further — as the championship favorite.

Briscoe will now set his sights on the overall race win.

If Briscoe does go on to win, he’ll more than likely have to deal with Noah Gragson, who reeled him in toward the end of Stage 2, but came up a little shy of winning the Stage.

Austin Cindric, who faded after leading 10 laps to finish seventh in Stage 1, rallied back to third in Stage 2.

Ryan Sieg continues to impress in that beefed up RCR chassis as he finished fourth in the Stage and he was followed by RCR’s Anthony Alfredo in fifth.

Brandon Jones, Justin Haley, Daniel Hemric, Justin Allgaier and Riley Herbst rounded out the top-10 finishers in Stage 2.

Ross Chastain, who was in the thick of the battle for the Stage 1 win, but ultimately slapped the wall, struggled in Stage 2 as he finished 12th in the Stage.

All 12 NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs drivers finished inside the top-15 in Stage 2.
