Carson Ware, who was indefinitely suspended by NASCAR following an arrest in October of 2021, has been officially reinstated by the sanctioning body. On Tuesday, NASCAR included Ware’s reinstatement in their weekly penalty report.

According to the report, Ware, “has successfully completed the terms and conditions mandated for reinstatement.”

Ware, 22, is the younger brother of NASCAR Cup Series competitor Cody Ware and he is the son of NASCAR Cup Series team owner Rick Ware.

The North Carolina-native has competed in a total of nine NASCAR Xfinity Series events and has made one NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start as well. Ware’s best NASCAR National Series finish, to date, is a 20th-place effort at Pocono Raceway in the NASCAR Xfinity Series during the 2020 season.

Additionally, Ware has competed in one ARCA Menards Series event at Kansas back in 2019. Ware scored a 13th-place finish in that start.

The only other thing listed on the post-Gateway and Portland penalty report was a lug nut violation by the No. 13 ThorSport Racing team in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

The truck, which was driven by Johnny Sauter on Saturday ended the race with one unsecured lug nut. As a result, crew chief Carl Joiner Jr. has been fined $2,500 for violating sections 8.8.10.4a of the NASCAR rule book.

Notably, Sheldon Creed was not included in the report, which means the driver of the No. 2 Richard Childress Racing machine in the NASCAR Xfinity Series will receive no penalty after walking across the track to show his displeasure for Jade Buford.

Creed walked toward Buford’s car under yellow flag conditions at Portland International Raceway, and delivered a double middle finger gesture at the No. 48 car.
