In his bid for his first NASCAR Xfinity Series title, driver Austin Cindric will bring some new colors to the track this weekend.

Carquest Auto, a subsidiary of Advance Auto Parts, will serve as the primary sponsor for Cindric and Team Penske’s No. 22 Mustang for this weekend’s Ag-Pro 300 at Talladega Superspeedway.

Carquest is apart of the Advance Auto Parts family – a sponsor of fellow Team Penske driver Ryan Blaney.

The 22-year-old has been enjoying an explosive season in the Xfinity Series this season. With five wins, and 15 top-5 finishes, Cindric is a championship favorite with fellow Mustang driver Chase Briscoe.

While still on the hunt for a ride for 2021, Cindric could either stay put in the Xfinity Series for an additional series, or move to Cup in 2021.

Current garage rumors are pointing Cindric to the Wood Brothers No. 21 Mustang thanks to the strong alliance with Team Penske, should current driver Matt DiBenedetto be released at season’s end.

Catch the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Talladega this Saturday, October 3rd at 4:30 PM EST on NBCSN and the NBC Sports App.
