Caesar Bacarella, co-owner of NASCAR Xfinity Series team Alpha Prime Racing, will return to the driver’s seat in the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway.

Bacarella, a native of Parkland, Florida, will pilot the No. 45 Prime Bites Mini Muffins / TikTok Shop Chevrolet, the organization’s third entry.

The 49-year-old driver has been competing part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series since 2017, primarily running on the superspeedways. In his 32 career starts, Bacarella has recorded three top-10s, all of which have come in the last two seasons.

In four Xfinity Series attempts in 2024, Bacarella qualified for three events and scored a pair of top-10 results — a seventh-place at Talladega Superspeedway in April and a ninth-place at Michigan International Speedway in August.

Neither of those results was a career-best for the Alpha Prime Racing co-owner, who scored a sixth-place finish in April 2023 at Talladega Superspeedway, driving the organization’s No. 43.

In the 2025 season-opener at Daytona, Bacarella will be joined by a pair of teammates in Alpha Prime Racing entries. Brennan Poole will return to the No. 44 Chevrolet, while Parker Retzlaff joins the team to pilot the newly renumbered No. 4 Chevrolet.

The 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series campaign will begin with the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway, on Saturday, February 15th. Live coverage of the event will be on The CW.
