The post accompanying the photo on Green’s Instagram account said, “NEWS, Excied to join Peterson Racing for a partial schedule in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, as well as another season in TransAm for 2024! Thankful to everyone that has believed in me. Ready to rip.”

Peterson Racing Group is a Trans-Am race team, that attempted to run the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL last fall with Andy Lally behind the wheel, but ultimately missed the show.

The team fielded the No. 87 Chevrolet Camaro in that one-off attempt in 2023.

In 16 starts in the TA2 division, the 22-year-old Green has recorded four podium finishes. Green also competed in one ARCA Menards Series event back in 2020 with Visconti Motorsports. The Concord, NC native started 11th and finished seventh in that event, which was at Toledo Speedway.
