Andy Lally, a road course ace and former NASCAR Cup Series rookie of the year, will step into the No. 03 Our Motorsports entry for the second NASCAR Xfinity Series event of 2021 at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course.

Lally, who scored top-five finishes in two NASCAR Xfinity Series events for Our Motorsports in 2020, Lally is amped up for another shot behind the wheel.

“After back-to-back top-5 finishes last year, I can’t tell you how excited I am to have another opportunity with Chris Our and the Our Motorsports crew,” said Lally in a team release. “Daytona will be one of the first times I’ve ever gone back to the same track with the same team where we can build on the prior race’s experience and set up. We had a very good car there last year and we will work to make it a great car this year!”

For team owner Chris Our, it’s all about sending a message of what his team is capable of in the opening weeks of the 2021 season.

“We want to come out of the gate strong to start the season,” said Our. “With (Brett) Moffitt in the 02 and (Tyler) Reddick and Lally kicking off the season in the 03, we’re in a good position to make a statement in Daytona.”

A press release from Our Motorsports indicates that Lally could see more action for the team in 2021, but that additional starts and sponsorship for Lally will be announced at a later date.
