The No. 45 NIECE Motorsports Silverado will sport a patriotic look when the NASCAR Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series visits two of the final three races of the 2020 season.

The AirPower Foundation will serve as the primary sponsor of Trevor Bayne and the No. 45 entry beginning at Texas Motor Speedway on October 25th. In addition, Bayne will carry the same colors when the series crowns its champion at Phoenix on November 6th.

The organization, established in 1999, funds programs dedicated to supporting active duty military, veterans, as well as their families.

“The AirPower Foundation is honored to have this opportunity to be the primary partner with Niece Motorsports and Trevor Bayne for the races in Texas and Phoenix,” said Sid Eppes, Chairman of the AirPower Foundation.  “These races will allow us to reach a very large audience to inform the public of the work we do, and the critical need for funding to further assist with the numerous requests we receive every day for assistance from the over 72 organizations we support annually across the country.  We sincerely thank Trevor Bayne for all his support, and we thank Al Niece for his service and his continued support of all who serve.”

Al Niece, owner of NIECE Motorsports and a Vietnam veteran himself, expressed excitement with the new partnership.

“I’m thrilled for the AirPower Foundation to come on board with Trevor and our team,” Niece said.  “Our military is near and dear to me, having served in the United States Marine Corps.  It means a lot to me to have an organization that supports our military members and their families on one of our trucks, especially at Texas and in Phoenix before Veteran’s Day.”

Bayne, who suddenly re-joined the NASCAR circuit with a ride at NIECE, is expected to remain within the organization for the remainder of the season.

The Knoxville, Tenneese native has yet to confirm plans for 2021, however industry rumors suggest that he could stay put at NIECE and run the full season schedule next season.

The NASCAR Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series will visit the Texas Motor Speedway for the SpeedyCash.com 400 on Sunday, October 25th at 12:00 PM EST on FOX Sports 1, the FOX Sports App, and the Motor Racing Network.
