The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will tackle the Streets of St. Petersburg on Saturday for the first-time ever, as the series competes in the inaugural OnlyBulls Green Flag 150. Unfortunately, due to Mother Nature, the drivers will be running the series’ first-ever street race with about 10 minutes of practice, and no qualifying.

Kaden Honeycutt, driver of the No. 11 Safelite Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for TRICON Garage, topped the speed charts in the extremely brief session around the 1.8-mile street course in St. Petersburg, Florida, getting around the track in 78.922 seconds (82.106mph).

The Willow Park, Texas-native has technically led every single practice session in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series so far in 2026, after being quickest in the 50-minute practice held at Daytona International Speedway. The series had no practice in its second race of the season at EchoPark Speedway.

Ben Maier, making his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start of 2026 and the third of his career, was second-quickest in the No. 4 Chevrolet Silverado RST for Niece Motorsports. Maier is a graduate of the Trans Am Series and the defending zMAX CARS Tour Pro Late Model champion.

Ben Rhodes was third fastest in the practice session, while retired NTT IndyCar Series driver James Hinchcliffe laid down the fourth-fastest lap in the No. 77 Chevrolet Silverado RST — despite making only four total laps in a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series vehicle.

Ty Majeski rounded out the top-five in the No. 88 Menards Ford F-150 for ThorSport Racing.

Connor Mosack, the polesitter for Saturday’s OnlyBulls Green Flag 150 at St. Petersburg, was sixth quickest in the practice session, with Chandler Smith, Jake Garcia, Tyler Ankrum, and Adam Andretti rounding out the top-10 in the brief session.

Despite its brevity, all 36 drivers entered in Saturday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at St. Petersburg managed to turn a lap. However, there were two drivers — Colin Braun and Cole Butcher — who only managed to get around the circuit once.

Cole Butcher, a Rookie of the Year (ROTY) contender driving for ThorSport Racing, was eager to get on the racetrack when the green flag dropped, with this being the first time he’s ever driven on a road course in any vehicle, let alone the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. However, Butcher quickly found the outside wall (missing the tire barrier by a couple of feet) and substantially damaged his Atlantic Tiltload No. 13.

Dario Franchitti, making his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start in just under two decades, placed the No. 1 Dollar Tree Toyota Tundra TRD Pro 19th in the practice session, after turning eight laps around St. Petersburg. For a moment earlier in the session, the IndyCar champion had his TRICON Garage entry at the top of the speed charts.

The OnlyBulls Green Flag 150 will take place Saturday, February 28 at Noon ET on FOX. NASCAR Racing Network, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
