Jennerstown Speedway took home the $50,000 Advance My Track Challenge Honors award in 2022, after more than 130,000 votes were cast in the program since April 5th.
The award, which the historic NASCAR-sanctioned track in Western Pennsylvania took home, was sponsored by Advance Auto Parts, the entitlement sponsor of the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series.
Ryan Blaney, who drives the No. 12 Advance Auto Parts Ford Mustang for Team Penske in the NASCAR Cup Series, it’s cool to see a track that is special to his family come out on top in the voting.
“First off, I’m excited for the team at Jennerstown,” said Blaney. “It’s a track that has meant a lot to my family. My grandfather raced there for many years, so it’s neat to see them win the Advance My Track Challenge. This is such an outstanding program, and I think it’s great what Advance is doing to support local race tracks. These tracks are all so important to their communities, and for local race fans, there’s no better value than visiting your local NASCAR track on a Saturday.”
For Advance Auto, seeing an iconic, fan-favorite grassroots racing facility receive this recognition is exactly what they envisioned with the Advance My Track Challenge, as Jennerstown now has capital to utilize for enhancements of their race track, as well as initiatives to support their local area.

We’ve enjoyed seeing how Advance My Track has been embraced by the racing community and we look forward to advancing grassroots racing in the years to come.”
According to a press release, Jennerstown Speedway will host an Advance Auto Parts-themed night for fans during a to be announced upcoming race weekend in 2022.
NASCAR’s Senior Vice President of Racing Development & Strategy, Ben Kennedy is excited about Jennerstown Speedway taking home the top prize.
“It’s great to see a historic track such as Jennerstown win the Advance My Track Challenge in their return to the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series family,” said Kennedy. “We know Jennerstown will use this award to continue to elevate the track and grassroots racing within the community, and we appreciate Advance’s continued dedication to supporting these facilities. Additionally, we’re looking forward to Alaska Raceway Park and Adams County Speedway taking advantage of their opportunity to build upon their strong foundation in their regions.”
While Jennerstown Speedway took home the $50,000 top prize in the fan vote, they aren’t the only facility that will be rewarded in the program this year. Alaska Raceway Park, which finished runner-up in the vote, will receive $15,000 while Adams County Speedway in Iowa will receive $10,000 for finishing third in the contest.
21 tracks started off on the ballot in the Advance My Track Challenge, but the field was cut down to the top-six tracks in the voting between April 5th and May 6th.
The six tracks, which were named finalists competed for votes in the final round between May 9th to the 13th.
