Frankie Muniz’s NASCAR journey has been picked up for a second season!

The Scottsdale, Arizona-native made an appearance on FOX and Friends in New York City on Monday to announce he would be returning to the seat of the No. 33 Ford F-150 in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

In addition to his already busy 25-race campaign driving in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2026, Muniz is also adding the SRO GT4 America Series to his already packed schedule, which, at season’s end, will make for a 38-race schedule.

Aerial Titans and Morgan & Morgan will both be substantial pieces of his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series program in 2026, which will begin at Daytona International Speedway on February 13.

“I thought I was done,” Muniz said in a social media post on Monday. “I really did. Hung up the helmet, said ‘that’s a wrap’ on racing… then realized I’ve still got way too much unfinished business on track.”

Muniz first began his journey to compete in NASCAR’s National Series in 2023, competing in the No. 30 Ford for Rette Jones Racing in the ARCA Menards Series — where he finished fourth in point standings.

The now-40-year-old driver got a taste of a couple of different racing disciplines, running select events in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and ARCA Menards Series, before getting the nod for a full-time seat in 2025 with Team Reaume in the No. 33 Ford F-150.

For Muniz, a rookie campaign in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series had its bright spots in 2025, including a career-best 10th-place finish in the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway and a top-15 at Michigan International Speedway after restarting inside the top-five at one point late in the race.

The 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series campaign will begin at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, February 13 at 7:30 PM ET. Coverage of the event will be on FS1, NASCAR Radio Network, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
