After an outstanding three-wide photo finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the NASCAR Cup Series is heading west to Las Vegas Motor Speedway, as the 1.5-mile facility will look to follow up one of the best races in recent memory.
On Monday, NASCAR released the preliminary entry list for the 2024 Pennzoil 400 Presented by Jiffy Lube, the third race of the season for the NASCAR Cup Series, set to take place on Sunday, March 3 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada.
With just 37 entries shown on the preliminary entry list, for 40 available spots, each one of the teams that travel out west to the intermediate-type track located in the heart of Sin City will get to take the green flag for Sunday’s 400-mile event.
Daniel Suárez, who scored the victory in Sunday’s Ambetter Health 400 for Trackhouse Racing, will return to Las Vegas Motor Speedway looking to continue his run of momentum, driving the No. 99 Freeway Insurance Chevrolet.
Notable entries for the event include Kaz Grala (#15, Rick Ware Racing) and Derek Kraus (#16, Kaulig Racing). Kraus will be attempting to make his NASCAR Cup Series debut with Western States Flooring on board.
JJ Yeley (#44, NY Racing) will return for his first attempt since the Daytona 500.
