There are 43 cars on the preliminary entry list for the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series The Loop 110, the series’ second annual street race around the Chicago Street Course and the 18th race of the 33-race NASCAR Xfinity Series season.
With up to 38 cars being permitted to start each race in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, five drivers or teams will be going home following this week’s qualifying session.
John Hunter Nemechek, who won last weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Nashville Superspeedway, will return this weekend in the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota GR Supra with primary sponsorship from Jewel Osco.
Hailie Deegan, who has run the opening 17 races of the NASCAR Xfinity Series season, will be replaced by Joey Logano for this weekend’s race as her AM Racing team seeks feedback to help them gain competitiveness for the remainder of the season.
