Who Would Win a Race Among the Best Winless Drivers in NASCAR History?

I have to admit it, since the age of four I have been an absolute junkie for NASCAR. As a kid it was always fun to see the dominant drivers of the day — Earnhardt, Wallace, Elliott — do what they did. But it was equally as fun catching up with the journeymen drivers deep in the field.

Each week Ken Squire, Bob Jenkins or Eli Gold would help tell those driver’s story as the race played out in front of them. An article published by Yahoo Sports’ Nick Bromberg this week got me feeling super nostalgic as he begged the question: Of all the best winless drivers in NASCAR Cup Series history, who would win in a race against each other?

It’s a fun exercise to think about who truly would win in the race, and it’s also a great refresher course of great drivers who were close — but never ultimately got a win in NASCAR’s Premier series.

Be sure to give this one a read by clicking here, it will help get you through the NASCAR off weekend.
