Video: Ryan Blaney Goes Spinning Into Turn 1 Dirt After Contact with Buescher

Ryan Blaney was battling inside of the top-five with Chris Buescher in Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway, but as the battle went down the hill on the frontstretch toward Turn 1 on Lap 62, Buescher got loose, and went into the side of Blaney’s No. 12 car.

This sent Blaney skidding off of the track surface, which sent him riding through the dirt off of Turn 1. Blaney would come to a stop as his car was beached into the dirt mound in Turn 1.

Blaney would lose a lap as he received assistance in being removed from the dirt hill in Turn 1.

As Blaney spun into the dirt, Bubba Wallace (27th place) and Denny Hamlin (30th) also went for spins on track.
