Video: Martin Truex Jr. Crashes While Leading Busch Clash With Eight Laps to Go

The 2021 Busch Clash at the Daytona Road Course has been, in a word, nuts. After having to come from the back half of the field twice, Martin Truex Jr. soared into the lead on lap 27 of the 35-lap exhbition race. Unfortunately, Truex would not make it back around as the leader.

Going through the backstretch chicane, Truex clipped the grass and dirt and went for a wild spin into the outside wall.

Truex slammed hard into the wall, which obliterated the front driver-side of his car. Truex, who had probably the fastest car in the race, was done for the night after the crash.
