Kyle Larson has some minor damage to the rear end of his No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro, after a bump from Christopher Bell sent the Hendrick Motorsports driver around in the first corner on the restart.

In just a matter of seconds, Kyle Larson has gone from battling for the lead with Hendrick Motorsports teammate William Byron, to sitting on pit road with the team assessing the damage to his vehicle.

On a restart in the race’s second stage, Larson, who was running in second place, got a shove into the corner by Christopher Bell, getting his HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro sideways, causing him to spin in turn one.

The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion made contact with the outside wall during his spin, but for all intents and purposes, didn’t cause any major damage to the back of his No. 5 Chevrolet.

A result of some hard work from his Hendrick Motorsports crew, Larson would remain on the lead lap, but will have to fight his way through the pack if he’s to contend for the victory in Sunday’s HighPoint.com 400 at Pocono Raceway.
