OH BOY! What was shaping up to be a fantastic battle for the victory between Ryan Blaney and Kyle Larson in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway triggered a caution in the final laps.

Larson, who was running second place to Blaney, attempted to shoot the gap between the lapped car of Austin Dillon and the defending NASCAR Cup Series champion but could not keep his No. 5 stable in the corner.

The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion miraculously avoided contact with Blaney, Dillon, or the outside wall, and performed the complete spin without losing more than a single position.

However, the spin sets up a late-race caution at Homestead-Miami Speedway and will cause a chaotic finish to Sunday’s middle race in the semi-final round of the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.
