Kyle Larson got spun from the race lead by Tyler Reddick off of Turn 4 on Lap 5 of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas.

What a wild start to Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway. After the pole sitter William Byron broke loose, and lost the lead, Kyle Larson, Ross Chastain and Tyler Reddick were locked into a fierce battle for the race lead.

On Lap 5, the aggression of that fierce battle went over the line as Reddick made contact with Larson coming off of Turn 4. The contact was just hard enough to send Larson spinning from the lead.

Here is a video of the incident:

After spinning to the inside of the track, Larson’s No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 started heading back up the track, but fortunately he was not tagged by any other cars and was able to continue on.
