Video: Kyle Busch Gets Into Noah Gragson, Spins Into Outside Wall

It has been a rough afternoon for Kyle Busch in Sunday’s USA Today 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and things got even tougher on Lap 155.

The driver of the No. 8 Richard Childress Racing FICO Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 was battling Noah Gragson. As Busch entered Turns 1 and 2 on the inside of Gragson, his No. 8 machine wiggled loose, and he made contact with Gragson’s No. 10 Ford.

Busch then spun and backed into the outside wall, which caused minimal damage to the rear of his car. Gragson also spun, but appeared to keep his No. 10 car out of the outside wall.

At the time of the incident Gragson was 21st, and on the lead lap, while Busch was outside the top-30, and was not on the lead lap.

Busch, who was firmly above the Playoff Cutline a few weeks ago, has had a horrendous stretch of races lately, which had dropped him to 18th on the Playoff Grid, 31 points on the outside looking in, heading into Sunday’s race at New Hampshire.

With how his day has been going in the USA Today 301, he’ll likely have a larger defecit in the Playoff race at the end of the day.
