Kyle Busch is done for the day after a hard crash on Lap 15 of Sunday’s rain-delayed NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan.

Kyle Busch was all smiles prior to Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. He had a fast car in practice, and was starting from the eighth position. However, things came undone for the two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion on Lap 15.

While attempting to get around Ryan Blaney for a position inside the top-10, Busch’s car lost traction, and the right side of Busch’s No. 8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet slapped into the left side of Blaney’s No. 12 Ford Mustang.

Busch would then spin his car backwards, and would slam into the Turn 2 wall with the left rear and driver’s side of his car.

Here is a video of the crash:

While the team attempted to fix the damage on Busch’s car, he would be forced to the garage, which signaled the end of his race. Busch will be credited with a last-place finish at Michigan.
