Video: Justin Haley Spins in Front of Field on Lap 1; Somehow Everyone Misses Him

Justin Haley, and everyone else in the 38-car field in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Straight Talk Wireless 400 nearly had a rough start to the Round of 8 Playoff race. On the opening lap of the race, heading into Turns 3, and 4, Haley misjudged where Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was located.

As Haley made a move to the inside, he was not clear and made contact with Stenhouse. In an instant, the No. 7 Chili’s Bar & Grill Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 went for a wild ride.

As Haley spun from inside the top-10, the entire field scattered to miss his spinning race car. Somehow, everyone, including Kaz Grala, who nearly piled into him, missed the accident.

Haley would have to hit pit road for a fresh set of tires, but other than that, there was no harm, no foul.
