Video: Josh Berry Done for The Day After Crashing Twice in Turn Two at Texas

In a matter of 20 laps, Josh Berry has gone from running inside the top-15 to being out of Sunday’s AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Texas Motor Speedway, after a pair of crashes in the second corner have severely damaged the No. 4 Miner Ford Mustang Dark Horse.

The first incident happened on Lap 122 when Berry was racing with Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. Contact between the two drivers sent the No. 4 Ford Mustang spinning up the racetrack and lightly into the outside wall, sustaining minor damage to his Stewart-Haas Racing entry.

A native of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Berry would return to the racetrack with minimal damage, although that would prove only to cause further problems when the No. 4 Miners Ford Mustang Dark Horse spun again in the second corner and slammed the outside wall, ending his afternoon.

Berry has retired from the event after 136 laps, and will finish at best 36th — dependent on if Austin Hill can return to the racetrack from steering issues had early in the race.
