Joey Logano came out on top of a thrilling battle with Kyle Busch for the win in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Gateway.

WOW! What a finish.

Kyle Busch was feverishly holding off Joey Logano in the closing laps of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway, but then Kevin Harvick went hard into the wall with a few laps left, which led to an overtime finish.

What ensued was an absolutely thrilling battle for the race win.

In the first lap, of two, of the Overtime finish, Busch and Logano swapped the lead an incredible three times. Heading into turn 1, Logano dived hard inside of Busch and pulled off a slide job for the lead.

But Busch would cut his No. 18 car to the inside of the track and would perform a crossover move to take the lead back down the backstretch.

As the duo made it to turn 3, Busch washed high as he carried too much speed into the turn. This allowed Logano to get by and as Busch kicked sideways off of turn 4, it was Logano who set sail for the win.

Here is the incredible finish to Sunday’s race:
