Video: Austin Dillon Spins Logano, Crashes Hamlin to Win at Richmond

Wow! What a wild finish. And at the end of it all, Austin Dillon found himself back in victory lane for the fifth time in his NASCAR Cup Series career. But after the pair of moves Dillon made on the final lap to secure the win, there will be conversation about this finish for quite some time.

Dillon, who had the race sewed up, was forced to defend the lead in an Overtime finish when Ricky Stenhouse Jr. spun Ryan Preece with two laps to go in the race.

On the Overtime restart, Dillon lost the lead, and it looked like Logano was going to cruise to the race win. However, heading into Turn 4, Dillon decided to slam into the rear of Logano’s car, which sent Logano spinning out of the race lead. As Denny Hamlin slid by for what looked to be the race win, Dillon then took a swipe at Hamlin’s No. 11 car, which sent Hamlin hard into the outside wall as well.

Dillon would then cross the finish line ahead of Tyler Reddick.
