Aric Almirola became the second driver to find issues in Coca-Cola 600 qualifying Sunday Afternoon, breaking loose in the middle of Turn No. 4, spinning the No. 10 Smithfield Ford Mustang down through the turf, making no wall contact.

Almirola had yet to take the green flag, and therefore was unable to record a timed lap. Therefore, Almirola will start 40th when the Coca-Cola 600 goes green Sunday Night at 6:00PM/EST.
