Video: Anthony Alfredo Turned Around in Restart Stackup, No. 38 Erupts into Flames at Texas Motor Speedway

Things got a little bit hot in the closing laps of Sunday’s AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 500 at Texas Motor Speedway, after contact between Kyle Busch and Chris Buescher caused a stackup effect in the middle of the field, leading to a spin by NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of The Year Contender Anthony Alfredo.

After Alfredo backed the No. 38 Ford Mustang into the outside wall, his Speedy Cash sponsored machine slid down the track and erupted into a ball of flames, with the car slowly became engulfed in flames as the 22-year-old attempted to climb from the car.

Alfredo would be relegated to a finish just inside the top-30, another poor result in what has been a rough rookie season.
