Corey LaJoie will have USANA, a leader in global nutrition and the Official Supplement Provider for Spire Motorsports, as a primary sponsor of his No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro in Sunday’s Pennzoil 400 Presented by Jiffy Lube at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The award-winning brand, which has been an active partner for Spire Motorsports since 2021, will have its first primary sponsorship realized in the NASCAR Cup Series during Sunday’s 400-mile contest in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“More professional and Olympic athletes trust USANA than any other nutritional supplement in the world and partnering with Spire Motorsports was a no-brainer for us,” said Brent Neidig, USANA’s Chief Commercial Officer. “The training that goes into being a professional driver is intense. These drivers are elite athletes and have to be at the top of their game mentally and physically to be able to control the speed and weight of these cars and require proper nutrition to perform at their best. We look forward to cheering their drivers on and seeing the number 7 car representing USANA on the track this weekend.”
The 32-year-old driver, who recently matched his personal-best result of fourth place in the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway, sits 12th in NASCAR Cup Series points heading to Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a track in which LaJoie has notched five top-20 finishes. In 2022, while driving for Spire Motorsports, the Charlotte, North Carolina native managed his first top-15 at the 1.5-mile intermediate track in the NASCAR Cup Series, finishing 15th.
“It always makes us proud when we can see a partnership grow,” said Spire Motorsports president Doug Duchardt. “Our friends at USANA started working with our hockey properties and quickly saw the value and opportunity for brand recognition with Corey and our No. 7 NASCAR Cup Series team. Corey is an avid fitness enthusiast and very particular about what he puts in his body so this expanded partnership with USANA couldn’t be a more perfect fit.”
Since making his NASCAR Cup Series debut in 2014, LaJoie has amassed an impressive 238 starts at NASCAR’s top level for a variety of organizations, before joining Spire Motorsports to pilot the No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro full-time in 2021.
Currently, at the beginning of his fourth season with the organization, LaJoie has bolstered his statline while driving the No. 7, picking up four top-five and six top-10 finishes, far exceeding his performances from the opening five seasons of his Cup Series career.
