Trackhouse Racing Owner Justin Marks Partnering with BJ McLeod, Travis Braden to Carry Kid Rock-Themed Design in All American 400

PC: Speed 51

Before we fully dive into this, aren’t Pitbull and Kid Rock technically somewhat competitors??

In what seems like something straight out of an alternate universe, NASCAR Cup Series team owners Justin Marks and B.J. McLeod – along with business partner Travis Braden — will be joining forces to field an entry in the All American 400 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on October 31st.

However, the driver of the BJ McLeod Motorsports with Travis Braden entry isn’t necessarily the person you would expect, as Trackhouse Racing team owner Justin Marks will get behind the wheel of the No. 78 Chevrolet, with sponsorship from ‘Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse’, a partnership put together in collaboration with Tootsies, which sponsored Daniel Suarez’s NASCAR Cup Series entry at Nashville Superspeedway.

On Thursday, Kid Rock was named the official grand marshall for the All American 400 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, an experience that will be accompanied by seeing his brand advertised on an entry in the event.

“This whole thing actually started with the Tootsie’s (Orchid Lounge) partnering with the No. 99 Cup car at the Nashville (Superspeedway) weekend,” Marks told Speed51.com. “The owners of Tootsie’s (Al Ross and Steve Smith) are business partners with Kid Rock and they’re big supporters of racing in Nashville.

BJ McLeod Motorsports with Travis Braden made its debut with NASCAR Cup Series driver Erik Jones at Five Flags Speedway in August, running the Blizzard Series doubleheader, scoring a fifth-place result on Saturday Night. An impressive effort on debut Friday Night was derailed by vibration after the team was on track for a top-10 run.

“I’m a competitor and I’m going to treat this like any other race,” Marks continued. “I want to do well for our partners. I think the length of this race plays into my past experiences, but at the same time, this is the top competition in this discipline, and I want to be measured in laying out my expectations.”
