Leah Pruett, a 12-time NHRA Top Fuel National event winner, stepped away from her role as a driver for the Tony Stewart Racing NHRA Top Fuel dragster team heading into this season so that she and Stewart, her husband, could plan to start a family together. On Monday afternoon, Stewart, the three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and current NHRA Top Fuel racer, announced that the planning went successfully.

The couple is expecting their first child, and the due date will be in November, 2024.

In a post on his X account, the 53-year-old Stewart revealed that the addition to the family will be a baby boy.

“I’m so excited to start a family with this incredibly beautiful love of my life @LeahPruett_TF. Can’t wait to meet this little guy. This is the ultimate (trophy emoji),” Stewart said in his post.

The post was accompanied by a pregnancy announcement graphic, which is a faux movie poster. The graphic states “We’re Pregnant” as the title of the movie, and it will star Tony Stewart + Leah Pruett. The movie has a Rated R tag, and it says it will be a Babygate Production.

The main image of the poster shows the two on their wedding day, and below the movie title, it says, “The long-awaited sequel to Let’s Get Married.”

The post also featured a video of the Tony Stewart Racing dragster burning out with blue smoke, and the words, “It’s a boy,” appear on the screen.

Congratulations to Stewart and Pruett.
