Team AmeriVet, the organization responsible for fielding the No. 50 Chevrolet Camaro on a part-time basis in the NASCAR Cup Series, has officially unveiled its groundbreaking ’50 Vets a Week’ program.

The organization made the official announcement of its new initiative on Tuesday, with the program aiming to address the urgent financial needs of military veterans across the United States, by offering targeted relief to 50 veterans each week throughout the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series campaign.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with ForgiveCo. We are building this team to fulfill our dreams, but also being able to help the men and women who have served our country really makes it special for everyone,” said Becky Auchmoody, co-owner of Team AmeriVet. “Debt is a significant burden for our veterans, often leading to severe challenges in their lives. Team AmeriVet is committed to changing this reality and delivering the support these heroes deserve.”

Backed by ForgiveCo, a pioneering force in cause marketing partnerships, the initiative underscores Team AmeriVet’s unwavering dedication to veterans and their families, addressing one of the most pressing issues with the veteran community: financial hardship.

“When veterans receive a letter in the mail saying ‘Your debt has been relieved thanks to Team AmeriVet and future brand partners’, it creates a powerful, shareable impact on their perception of that brand. This is exactly what companies strive for — delivering something real and meaningful to drive brand consideration.”

The ’50 Vets a Week’ program will relieve various types of debt, including mortgages, medical bills, utilities, credit card balances, student loans, telecommunications expenses, payday, high-interest, and marketplace loans, tax liens, and fines. With the help of their brand partners, Team AmeriVet will eliminate the debt of 50 veterans each week during the upcoming NASCAR season.

Announcements regarding the 2025 driver and race schedule for Team AmeriVet in the NASCAR Cup Series will come at a later date.
